The material has been changed from natural wood, which is subject to changes over time, to Artellion. By using the wood grain pattern of Artellion in a station building with a strong industrial image, an exterior with a natural feel has been achieved. The design matches the natural wood of the interior, and Yamato-bari is reproduced through bending processing. Aluminum honeycomb panels are used for the platform ceiling. Taking advantage of the properties of aluminum, it can be processed into a variety of shapes suitable for construction.
Because the printing is done directly on the aluminium plate, the colour and pattern will stay in place even when it is bent. Unlike cut panels, no undercoat is required, which offers cost benefits.
・We recommend using 2mm thick plate material for bending.
・We recommend verifying the processing prior to mass production.
- When cutting the plate, we recommend touching up the edges with ambient-drying fluorine paint.
By showing the sharp edges of the panel, it enhances the design sense and creates a luxurious feel.
・We recommend using 3mm thick sheets for the cut panels.
- If the thickness is 3mm, the marks left by the stud welding on the back side will not show on the surface.
