High weather resistance
Artellion has high weather resistance due to the 3-coat 3-bake process (3-time printing + 3-time baking) with fluorine coating. Since the sheet is made of aluminium suitable for outdoor use, it is lightweight and rust-resistant, and you can use it with confidence.

Manufacturing process
Artellion is made with a direct printing and coating process on aluminium sheet. The printing method, called the "3-coat, 3-bake method," involves printing three times and baking three times. After applying a primer to the aluminium sheet, the base coat is applied, which will be the base for the pattern colour. Then, a pattern such as wood grain or stone grain is printed, and a clear coat is applied on top. As the product is baked in an oven after each printing process, Artellion's mechanical stability and aesthetics are ensured.
Easy maintenance
Artellion is available even for outdoors with the fluorine coating, which has a proven track record of use for over 20 years. Since it is resistant to colour fading and discolouration, maintenance costs such as repainting and replacement can be reduced.

The first project of Artellion is the Shanghai Mando Building, Shanghai.
The exterior is made of real red granite from the 1st to 4th floors, and Artellion was used from the 5th floor onwards. It is lightweight and reproduces the unique texture of red granite.

In the case of Takanawa Gateway, there are parts that use real wood and parts that use Artellion, but in fact it is almost impossible to tell the difference if you see it.
Stations need to be more weather-resistant than other buildings, and if something is damaged, trains may have to be stopped to replace it, so the weather resistance that Artellion provides is extremely important and necessary for such delicate buildings.
I think that even things like train stations, which in a sense are symbols of industrialization, will need to have the texture of wood in the future.
