Artellion is an architectural solid aluminium sheet that can be used for both interior and exterior purposes. We use unique printing technologies to express realistic and difficult textures of wood and stone, as well as never-before-seen designs. It is a next-generation building material that is easy to process, lightweight, and highly durable.

It is used in a variety of buildings, including public facilities, train stations, accommodation facilities, commercial facilities, flat complexes, office buildings, and educational facilities. The use of aluminium thicknesses of 2mm and 3mm allows for flexible design, including special sheet metal processing, and can be deployed in a wide variety of locations regardless of the purpose of the building.

It can be utilised in any part, from exterior to interior. It has a proven track record of usage in the same areas as general aluminium panels, such as exterior walls, eaves ceilings, pillars (square and round), eaves, sash fittings, driveways, back panels, and large louvers.

It is produced by sheet. The 3-coat, 3-bake process, which involves a baking process after each printing process of primer, base coat, and gravure offset, achieves high design quality and surface performance.

No, we print only available on aluminium flat sheets specified by our company.

Yes! However, we only support printing on aluminium sheets specified by our company. We also offer "Elio Steel Sheet", which is a type of steel sheet or stainless steel sheet that has been baked on to create a printed surface.

No, double-sided printing is not supported. Only single-sided printing is supported.

Yes, the standard size is 1220mm x 3050mm, in thicknesses of 2.0mm and 3.0mm. If you require a size other than the standard sizes, please contact us.

For custom sizes in the longitudinal direction only, orders must be for a total weight of 0.5 tons or more. Sizes available are thickness 0.6 to 3.0 mm, length 1550 to 4500 mm.

We may be able to provide sizes for less waste in the longitudinal dimension, so please contact us for more information.

If you also wish to change the width direction, your order must be for a total weight of 2 tons or more. Sizes available are thickness 0.6 to 3.0 mm, width 650 to 1220 mm, and length 1550 to 4500 mm. The weight of 2 tons is equivalent to about 100 sheets of 2mm thickness, or about 70 sheets of 3mm thickness (based on standard size 1220x3050).

The standard size of 2mm thickness (1220mmx3050mm) is about 20kg/sheet, or about 5kg/ ^m2, and the standard size of 3mm thickness (1220mmx3050mm) is about 30kg/sheet, or about 8kg/ ^m2. (Calculations are based on the specific gravity of aluminum being 2.72.)

The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has certified that the synthetic resin coating/aluminium alloy is non-flammable (in the case of fluorine coating). This is not a fireproof material.

It is manufactured at DNP Ellio Co., Ltd.'s Tokyo Plant (Kanagawa Prefecture).

Two base expressions are available: "MATERIAL" and "ART ALUMI".
MATERIAL: Patterns are printed on top of an opaque base coat layer, creating a realistic design that is close to real mateirlas.
ART ALUMI: A transparent paint is used for the base coat layer, creating a design with a high-brightness finish that takes advantage of the brilliance of the aluminium base material.

We offer three types of surface treatments: Flat, Satin, and Gloss & Matte. Due to the manufacturing characteristics of printing, we can express a variety of textures.
Flat: A glossy surface finish suitable for metallic designs.
Satin: A matte and elegant texture, this is the most commonly used finish.
Gloss Matte: Adding an extra printed layer on top of a Satin/Flat finish creates a three-dimensional texture. It creates a visual effect due to the difference in gloss of the ink used.

By combining base expressions, patterns, and surface treatments, we can create an original design for each project. For example, we can adjust the colour of the wood grain from brown to gray or white, or create a metallic look that has the luster of aluminium while still retaining the wood grain.

The position of the pattern varies depending on the panel. The pattern repeats approximately every 960 mm, but is designed to be unobtrusive.

For standard sizes, it usually takes about 2 to 3 months from the time the design is finalized to the delivery of the boards.
In addition, secondary processing is required after the board materials are provided.
It usually takes approximately 3.5 to 4.5 months from the time the boards are provided until delivery to the site.
If you order a custom size, please allow an additional month.
This will vary depending on the demand for aluminum and market conditions, so please contact us each time.

Not recommended. As this is a pre-coated sheet, there is a possibility of damage to the design due to welding.

Please avoid adhesive methods as they are dangerous.

Welding to seal the watertightness is not possible as this could damage the design. A simple sealing will be used.

DNP conducts various tests on Artellion.
Here is an example.
Sunshine Weather-O-Meter: 10,000 hour test (equivalent to approximately 20 years) discoloration rate ⊿E = 2 to 3.
Neutral salt spray test (JIS-Z2371: 2000 hours, no significant discoloration
Surface coating hardness: HB to 2H hardness (varies depending on color and finish)

We can provide "mill sheets" and "coating performance reports" upon request.

All products are delivered with a protective film.
The protective film may become too adherent due to ultraviolet rays, so after delivery from our company, we recommend covering it with a sheet or storing it indoors. If it is placed in an environment exposed to ultraviolet rays, we recommend removing it within two weeks.

This will resolve over time, but tends to be resolved more quickly with heating.
This will resolve naturally and will not interfere with processing.

We conduct tests such as neutral salt spray tests (JIS Z2371).
Please consider this before using this product in areas prone to salt damage.

We do not provide repairs.
Please ask a repair professional to touch up the item using a coloured, dry fluorine paint so that it blends in with the colour and pattern.

Please arrange this with the main contractor or construction company.

We recommend regular cleaning with water or a mild detergent.
*Please refrain from wiping with alcohol as it will damage the surface and cause discolouration.

Artellion is an environmentally friendly and sustainable product in the following ways:

1. Lightweight: Made of aluminium, it is a lightweight material. This reduces the weight of the building and the load on the structure. It also reduces the load during transportation and construction, which leads to a reduction in transportation energy.

2. Long-term durability: It has excellent weather resistance and can be used for a long time. It has little discolouration or deterioration and has specifications that can withstand the complete external environment.

3. Low maintenance: High durability reduces the frequency of maintenance. No regular painting or repairs are required, reducing building management costs.

4. Recyclability: Made from aluminium, it is recyclable, contributing to waste reduction and effective use of resources.

Because it is a paint-printed product on solid aluminium, it has excellent recyclability.
As all processed products are made of metal, the recycling rate is high, including the surplus materials generated during production.

When welding with stud bolts, we recommend a sheet thickness of 3 mm or more.
Stud bolt welding to thin plates of 2 mm or less or welding to finished surfaces may cause dents or burns on the printed surface of the top layer, which may affect the design.

Because it is a pre-coated material, the aluminium base is exposed at the end surfaces.
If end treatment is required, we recommend that the processing company touch up the end surface with ambient-drying fluorine paint.

It can be processed in the same way as general aluminium sheets.
When processing for the first time, we recommend performing a processing verification in advance.
We have B5 size panels (2mm and 3mm thick, any colour or pattern) available as samples for processing verification.

A plate thickness of 2 mm is recommended.
Depending on the processing environment, equipment technology, and substrate temperature, microcracks may occur on the processed surface.
If the outside temperature is below 20°C, we recommend that you manage the heating of the sheet and conduct processing verification using scrap material.

Sharp edges created by the bender can cause cracks in the aluminium base material.
There are also processing limitations in terms of temperature control of the board, so we recommend verifying each shape.

Because it is a pre-coated plate, the aluminum base is exposed at the cut area.
If necessary, ask the contractor to touch up exposed areas of the base material with ambient-drying fluororesin paint.

The higher the temperature of the substrate, the easier the coating tends to conform.
We recommend an angle of up to about 90°. Please test the processing in advance using scrap material, etc.

A plate thickness of 3 mm is recommended.
Because it is a pre-coated plate, the aluminium base is exposed at the cut area.
If necessary, ask the contractor to touch up exposed areas of the base material with ambient-drying fluorine paint.

This product is printed directly onto the aluminium, so it will not peel off even on cut edges.

In the case of 3mm thick sheets, there will usually be no traces of the stud bolts being driven into the surface.

It can be processed in the same way as regular metal panels.
Since machining of small radii depends on factory equipment and machining environment, we recommend that you verify the machining in advance using the machining verification samples we provide.
